Finding qualified employees was a challenge for my firm – particularly in a competitive market. I launched a media relations campaign to supplement and enhance recruitment efforts by gaining visibility through regional, trade and national media coverage. I pitched, placed and wrote employee stories for various publications, and I identified and applied for “best company” awards and lists. Our biggest success was applying for and securing placement on Fortune’s 100 Best Companies To Work for List, the first and only time the firm has been included on that ranking.
